Mid November - Mid December
It's difficult to know exactly where you
stand with other people, perhaps
because you carry such a romanticised
notion of them in your heart. It takes
time to sort your way through this haze,
contributing to some confusion. In the
meantime, you have a home to organise
as new conditions emerge: a move may
It is difficult to pinpoint the nature of
difficulties were a health matter is
concerned during the coming month,
with many Virgo natives finding
themselves weary or susceptible to
infection. Reorganising your routine is a
must, along with the creation of more
reasonable time frames in which to
Libran natives are carried aloft the wings
of idealism during the coming month,
perhaps not permitting you to see a
situation realistically: this is especially
true where a child or romance is
concerned. However, the trends are
great for creativity, allowing you to
produce some of your finest work.
The new conditions that emerge in your
life this coming month will prove to be
highly beneficial for you, allowing you to
grow as a person and improve your
living conditions. You are more than
satisfied with some of the things that are
developing on the home front, which
proves to be a wonderful haven
You'll be wondering how far your
dreams can take you during the coming
month, whether you want to study or
travel to foreign lands. There's a touch of
romanticism about these dreams so
you'll need to be more realistic to make
them happen. You'll be looking at
funding during the coming month:
good aspects exist.
A sense of uncertainty pervades your life
this month, as you wonder about career
prospects or the success of a goal that
has the potential to dictate the course of
your life. Whilst prospects are good you
need to make yourself fully aware of the
pitfalls that may present themselves.
Discussions present opportunities.
The potential for new opportunities on
the work front multiply during the
month following November 17,
captivating your heart and mind
because of their economic potential:
prospects are good. You seem to be
riding a wave of success in the
countdown to Christmas, possessing a
magical touch that opens doors and
contacts to you.
Your financial aspirations seem to
blossom during the coming month,
although you'll have to work at
developing your prospects. There may
be some travel or study involved, or
perhaps investigations into the legal
aspects of a venture as you endeavour
to launch yourself into new areas. Love
warms your heart too: lucky you!
Your mind is in a rather nebulous state
during the coming month which, whilst
great for expressing feelings and
creativity, doesn't help you with the
practicalities of daily living. You'll feel the
need to get away from the mainstream
of life, thereby allowing you to develop
new perspectives that will assist.
There's a distinct need to assess the true
nature of your finances during the
coming month, particularly as you are
planning new goals and investments. It
is no good going into something with
hazy ideas, as this renders you
vulnerable. If you can't manage it
yourself, seek the advice or assistance of
a trustworthy person.
Your dreams for all those wonderful
things that could make your life ideal
seem to dominate the coming month.
Aquarians will be mixing with positively
minded people and indulging in
inspirational social occasions. These
serve their purpose as you establish new
directions in life, which may include
The gentle application of caring souls
seems to soothe the stressful conditions
that have complicated your life in recent
years. You may need to temporarily
place aside an important quest, but it is
a matter of setting priorities.
Consequently, new opportunities bloom
in other areas: you are looking at life

When you begin a new Sudoku, some of the
squares will already have numbers in them, and
will have a grey background. The easier the
Sudoku, the more numbers will be provided for
you. These grey squares cannot be altered. The
rules for Sudoku are simple, fill all the empty
squares so that the numbers 1 to 9 appear once
in each of the nine columns, each of the rows, and
each of the nine boxes.
Recipes for fabulous
cocktails & party
PERFECT for the upcoming party season
is Fizz, a beautiful little book that's an
ideal party companion. It contains
recipes for cocktails -- both classic and
contemporary -- and one-bite party food.
Gathering friends together for cocktails and
nibbles is an enjoyable way to entertain.
It's a relaxed and fun way to have guests
around without the stress of a sit-down meal.
From mojitos and margaritas, to
caramelised onion and goat's cheese
quiche, to duck and lychee wonton cases,
Fizz contains heaps of ideas to make your
party a success. Even better, some recipes
can be made in advance so, as host, you get
to enjoy your party too.
The cocktail list covers all the classics such
as martinis and a few contemporary twists
such as strawberry and peach tequila
A section is also devoted to glasses,
garnishes and bar equipment.
It's Twilight Time. One of the most anticpated
sequels begins next week. New Moon opens
on November 19. The tickets have been on
sale for some time now. The first screening is at
12.01am on the19th. At the time of writing we
have more than500 people booked in to that
session but we expect to have 700 on the night.
We are also screening the original Twilight at
9.30pm that night so people can see both movies
back to back. The third Twilight film, Eclispe is due
out in June next year.
We recently had an article on the front page of
The Redland Times newspaper about the amount
of lost property that we have here. Every few
months we take all unclaimed property to the
charity bins. When The Redland Times article was
published, we had so much lost property that if we
were to take everything out of the storage boxes
and spread them out over the floor of the ticket
box, the pile would be about 30cm high. Many
people came in and claimed their items as a result
of the article. If you do lose something at the
cinema, you are better off coming in and asking to
have a look in the lost property boxes. If you
phone and simply leave a message to say you have
lost a pair of black sunglasses, it won't help us
much as we may have 30 pairs of black sunglasses.
Of course the best thing to do before you leave the
cinema is to check to see that you have everything
and that there is nothing in the cupholders or under
the seat so that you don't lose it in the first place.
It is getting very close to Christmas again. I can't
believe how fast the year has gone. We have gift
vouchers available that make excellent Christmas
presents. Adult movie vouchers are $8.50 each or
$75 for a book of 10.Seniors and Student vouchers
are $6.50 each and Children and Pension vouchers
are $4.50 each. We also have vouchers to the
Deluxe Licensed Cinema (for over 18s) at $12.50
each, or the ultimate experience package which
includes admission to the Deluxe cinema, a glass
of wine or beer and a main course meal for $35.
Vouchers are available from the cinema during
A reminder that it is no cheaper to come to the
movies during the day on a Tuesday than any
other week day. We have the same prices low
Monday to Friday before 6pm.Our weekday prices
before 6pm are Adults $6.50, Seniors and Students
$5.50 with Children and Pensioners only $4.50.
We do not get all films on their initial release.
Often a film will go to our Balmoral Cinema first
before coming here. This is at the instruction of the
film's distributor who may only give our company
one copy of the film with the stipulation that it
must go to Balmoral first. We then receive the print
after Balmoral's screening contract is over. Recent
examples of films coming here late are Coco Avant
Chanel, Disgrace, Cheri, and Balibo. We have also
planned to bring other films down at times but
nobody asks for it, so the Owner decides not to
screen it here. Therefore, if there are films you
would like to see, please tell us so we can pass that
I look forward to seeing you soon, at the movies.
