Sam Crawford is just your average 20 year

The pair are the co-owners of The Wishing Well
cafe at Victoria Point, purchased one year ago.
A family concern involving Sam's fiancee, her
brother and Sam's dad -- a regular at the sink --the
cafe has bonded an already inseparable pair.
"I worked here for two years and fell in love
with the place. It's old and gorgeous and Sam was
the logical choice for partner. He's worked in
kitchens since he left school and we've always
got along well,"Meg said.
The cafe is open for lunch and breakfast from
Wednesday to Sunday and dinner on Friday nights.

"We often get comments --- like 'oh wow, you
must be close'. We do have our spits, but we get
over them quick. People are amazed we do get
on and can work together, "Meg said.
Meg said she felt the bonding was stronger
through a shared love for her other daughter,

"Plus I was young when I had him, " she said.
At work, Meg said she was very proud,
describing Sam as ambitious, a "tough boss" and
"He's tough and I'm the softie," she said.
"Perhaps it works too because we try to leave
work at work. At home, we are mother and son.
I lean on him at work because he can be firm
and I let him do that, but at home, I still want
him to clean his room. He runs a tidy kitchen
and I wish he was like that at home
sometimes," she said.
It's a case of mutual adoration, with Sam
describing his mother as "helpful"
, "caring" and
"She can be a pain in the arse --- only kidding
--- and we do have our few ups and downs, but
basically knowing her makes it easier and we
can sit down and discuss anything without
worrying what the other person might think,"
