WHEN Corina Mitrovic was married on
February 6, her three most important
friends were there.
One was Wade Hardaker at the altar; the other
her beloved Missy Moo (show name Kianii Miss
Bella), a thoroughbred-cross quarter horse, raised
from a foal.
Corina's best friend, Sharon Andrews rode the
horse ahead of a horse drawn carriage to the
wedding, from the Redland Bay Hotel to the
Redland Bay Golf Club.
"I wanted to ride Missy Moo there myself, but
Wade said 'no', so Dad and I were in the carriage
and we were led in by Missy Moo. I love her. She's
just as important to me as Wade,"Corina said.
Wade, 28, and Corina, 30, were married at the
golf club, with 76 guests.
Flowers were provided by The Flower Shed at
Alexandra Hills and Anne Romalli, of Thornlands,
supplied the sprays.

The girls went to Lakeside Day Spa, which
opened at 4am to accommodate them, to get
ready for the 10am wedding.
A jillaroo from the Northern Territory, Corina
met Wade when he moved to live with her
brother at North Lakes five years ago. Ironically,
the pair lived just two houses away when they
grew up at Kallangur, with Wade's mother the
tuck shop lady at the school.
"That's where Wade and my brother got to
know each other, "Corina said.
"When I moved in with my brother and he
asked whether Wade could move in too, I said
'yeh, whatever' and we put him in the study for a
while.Things went from there, " she said.
Now the couple live at the Roundabout
Nursery at Thornlands, with Wade working as a
boilermaker and Corina as the nursery manager.
The couple honeymooned in Fiji and Thailand.
